What I wore: Winter Plaid

Long-sleeve thermal shirt: Victoria's Secret
Plaid dress: Swapped with Marisa!
Fleece tights: c/o Foot Traffic

Classic gold earrings: Thrifted

Parking lot galaxy?

I s'pose this is my take on a Valentine's Day outfit!  Actually, I'm hoping it has the classic American & folk vibes I was thinking about when I put it together.  Marisa is a lovely gal for swapping with me, I enjoyed toning it down & finding a simple look I felt comfortable (& warm!) in.  Speaking of warm, these fleece-lined tights from Foot Traffic are genius.  Feelin' silly for not thinking of them sooner, but I'm relieved to find a simple black tight that can stand up to the elements.  I've got a few other new pairs to show you in the near future, too! So yes, yay for the good hosiery folks haha.

Anyhow! I wore this outfit to dinner with family and on a much-needed spin around an old favorite park of mine with Mr. Blue Sky. It got pretty cold, but I'm just grateful the sun was shining!  Oh, and for this dress, have I said that yet? How fun to see how she wore it before me, right? :)

  1. Ah, I love this outfit! Plaid anything is good, but a red plaid dress is BEST.

  2. That dress is great! And I really wanna try out fleece lined tights they sound amazing

  3. Oh wow Megan - that little plaid dress is just perfect on you! You nailed it with the classic American/folk vibes you were going for. That little purse adds the sweetest little crafty touch. I just wore your sweater (and took photos in it today). I love it to pieces...thank you thank you lovely gal :-)
