What I wore: Blend & Fade

Textured sweater: Thrifted
Skirt: Gabriel Brothers
Leggings: Forever21

Cameo necklace: Gift

Boots: Thrifted

Here's a typical "uniform" type fall outfit for me - loose textured sweater with a form-fitting skirt, leggings/tights, and boots (which cost me a whopping $1, by the way!).  I also love mixing neutrals lately for some reason. Anyway, I'm trying to focus more on outfit posts these days, mainly because my new 'big girl job' allows me to shop outside of the thrift stores for once.  A few new parcels are on their way to me and I can't wait to style them, so stay tuned if you're curious!

  1. Congrats on a "big girl" job :)

    Liking the cameo. How unique.

  2. This is great fall uniform to have! You can never go wrong with a cute sweater, adorable bag, and combat boots! And congrats on the new job :)

  3. I like your sweater, it looks so cozy.
    Congrats on the new job.

  4. This outfit is very you and I love your sense of layering. The boots are also great!

  5. I love this outfit, especially the texture on that skirt! You sure do have a way with layers!

  6. One of my favorite color combos...brown and black. Those boots were a great find.

  7. Nice blog. :) would you like to follow each other? just let me know.

  8. Love the boots! Your header is so cool!

  9. I love the tough combat boots with the layers up top! That color of the sweater is perfect for fall :)

  13. also, if you dont mind me asking, did you just contact We love colors? I filled out a form a while back on their site but never heard back. i was bummed, esp after i heard they were made in the US and i've been wanting to support more vintage and fair trade/ethically made shops on my blog.

    1. Yes, I e-mailed We Love Colors & got in touch with them first. If I were you, I'd bug them again. I have also worked with Foot Traffic ( and received a great experience & product. Not sure if they produce in the US though. Hope you have some luck and thanks for the thoughtful comment :)
