What I wore: Minimal Patterns

Peasant dress: Ruche

Leather backpack: Thrifted

Here we are with neutrals on a gray afternoon again! It seems like "minimal" is a trend I'm participating in these days.  Blogs I've read in the past have mentioned the idea of sorta having a uniform outfit, and I'm totally into it - how about you?  Buying multiples of things that have worked in the past makes dressing easier, I think.  For instance, I have a silly amount of dresses with elasticized waists like this, and I know I'll have to replace these black boots (one of my staples!) next fall.  Anyway, I've worn this outfit to work, and it's perfect, comfort-wise (being on the floor with and running around chasing kiddos).  Sometimes I have a hard time deciding if things are professional or not, but I think because of the nice fit/tailoring of this dress, it works! Ya think?
