What I wore: The Gatsby Wedding

Lilac sequin dress: Asos
Silver flat sandals: Saltwater Sandals

Tiny holographic purse: Target

So, everyone knows weddings are great! At my cousin's wedding, we had a great time chatting with wedding guests, taking in the glitzy theme decor, and exploring an old factory turned wedding venue in Cleveland.  About this look: I wish I had gotten more photos! This gown is actually an Asos original and I couldn't be happier with it.  However, it is a size too big, but honestly I'm always happy to have a little room in my clothes!I hope you get the gist of the dress: lilac, floaty skirt, sequin and pearl flower embellishment and.. that's it.  I decided to keep it super simple with the dress to let the bodice be the focal point, so I paired it with clean silver accessories, a summer tan, and a wine glass.  Happy wedding season!

  1. I love weddings! So fun and special. This dress is beautiful! Love the detail. -♥- Rachel (For the Birds)

  2. What a beautiful dress! Next time add a sparkly or simple belt to pull the waist in and create the illusion of the perfect size! Dressing for weddings is always hard, but you did a great job!

    1. Thanks Jessica :) Ah a belt, good idea! Lately I've been thinking Francesca's has some cool and unique belts..I've tried to get some from the thrift store but sometimes they are just too old & fall apart quickly!
